About
Dr. Kara Manning

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Manning received her Ph.D. in Adult Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship training at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts where she currently works full time as a staff psychologist.

Her clinical training is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, however, she prefers an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating other evidence-based interventions including mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. She has extensive experience treating chronic pain, sleep disturbance/insomnia, and severe fatigue. She also specializes in depressive and anxiety disorders.
